Aion IO-Link mioty Adapter general description
Are you looking for the general description of the Aion IO-Link mioty Adapter?
AION IO-Link mioty Adapter – Industrial wireless bridge for IO-Link sensors
Overview
The AION IO-Link mioty adapter enables the wireless integration of existing IO-Link sensors into modern IoT and IIoT applications. It acts as a bridge between industrial IO-Link sensors and the mioty® wireless network, without requiring any modifications to the existing sensors or additional cabling.
By connecting any IO-Link-enabled sensors—such as pressure, temperature, level, or flow sensors—machine and process data can be centrally collected, monitored, and analyzed. This allows seamless digitalization of machines and processes in both new and existing installations.
Key Features
- mioty®, LoRaWAN® on request
- Adapter for connecting IO-Link sensors with wireless data transmission
- Seamless integration into existing IO-Link structures
- IP69k, -25°C to 85°C, optionally with temperature and relative humidity sensor IP67
- IO-Link decoding in the cloud (not directly on the sensor)
- Compact design
- 2 × M12 connectors, Vin = 24 V
Application Examples
- Smart Factory Automation: Monitoring of machines, systems, and production goods
- Predictive Maintenance: Monitoring of vibration, temperature, and condition data
- Remote Monitoring: Transmission of sensor data from hard-to-reach areas
- Retrofitting: Existing plants, brownfield and greenfield applications
- Process Industry: Process data acquisition in harsh and remote environments
- Smart City: Integration of industrial IO-Link sensors into Smart City projects
