EOS Radar Sensor Telemetry Resources

The EOS Radar Series enables powerful, wireless IoT level monitoring based on modern radar technology. The telemetry resources provide all measured sensor values, status information, and alarm conditions in a structured format for further processing.

In addition to the radar measurements, information on battery capacity, battery voltage, sensor temperature, and the sensor's location and status is provided. This enables applications for level monitoring, asset tracking, and condition monitoring to be implemented efficiently.

Depending on the communication variant, the telemetry resources can be transmitted via supported IoT technologies and analyzed within platforms, dashboards, or backend systems.

In addition, alarm and event information is available, such as for radar alarms, tamper detection, vandalism events, and user actions.

This document describes all telemetry resources of the EOS Radar series, including keys, data types, value ranges, and the meanings of the individual fields.

• Location options depending on the communication version:
  • mioty®: GNSS with GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou
  • LoRaWAN®: GNSS scan with GPS and BeiDou, Wi-Fi SSID scan
  • Mobile networks: GNSS with GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Cell Locate
• Housing with IP69K protection rating for harsh industrial environments
• Operating temperature: −20 °C to +80 °C
• Replaceable batteries:
  • EOS version: 3 × AA LiSOCl₂ cells
  • EOS2C version: 2 × C-LiMnO₂ cells
• Provisioning and configuration via BLE
• SMA versions available for connecting an external antenna
• Built-in accelerometer for shock detection and activity tracking
• Available in a flat design or with a 1.5-inch thread
