Battery lifetime can be significantly increased by using Wi-Fi SSID tracking or Cell Locate positioning instead of GNSS tracking whenever the application permits.
Battery lifetime can be significantly increased when Wi-Fi SSID tracking or Cell Locate positioning is used as the preferred location technology. These methods generally require less energy than GNSS or GPS-based positioning.
