1. Apollon-Q Overview
The Apollon-Q series consists of wireless IoT level sensors that deliver high-quality measurement results thanks to a unique, complementary measurement principle. The sensor combines optical measurement with radar and can be used to measure levels up to 2.50 meters. Whether for discrete solids, liquids, or bulk materials—the devices in the Apollon-Q series deliver precise results and are suitable for various applications in level measurement, such as in containers, shafts, channels, or in the smart waste sector. The sensor also provides reliable data even in small containers like wastebaskets. In addition to an optimized range and short measurement and transmission intervals, the product offers numerous advanced features and supports the most common communication standards such as MIOTY®, NB-IoT, LoRaWAN®, LTE-CAT-M1, and, most recently, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

2.3 Innovative and Robust ToF 3D Measurement
We use high-performance, power-optimized laser technology in the Apollon-Q. This allows us to capture many small measurement points and combine them into a low-resolution 3D image. As a result, even highly inhomogeneous surfaces—such as those found on piece goods—can be captured more accurately than with conventional methods. Additionally, specific sections of an image can be examined more closely or ignored.
This filters out interference or objects in the sensor's field of view. For extremely small containers, such as KLT boxes or wastebaskets, the field of view can be reduced. In this way, the field of view can be narrowed, and the measurement window can be individually adjusted to fit the specific container.
