Apollon-ZETA Overview
The Apollon-Zeta Smart Waste Sensor stands for wireless sensor technology with the usual high-quality measurement results. The sensor uses an innovative 3D measuring principle and is particularly impressive in small containers. The level sensor measures reliably and detects almost all materials without any problems - regardless of whether they are piece goods or liquids. Due to its small dimensions, the Apollon- Zeta is hardly noticeable even in public containers, which provides natural protection against vandalism. During development, the focus was deliberately on cost-efficient applications. Nevertheless, essential features such as a robust housing made of glass fiber-reinforced plastic or a reliable power supply were not neglected. The sensor can transmit data via LoRaWAN® or mioty®.

Innovative and robust ToF 3D measurement
We use high-performance and current-optimized
laser technology for the Apollon-Q. This
enables us to record many small measuring points and combine them into a coarse-resolution 3D image. This means that even highly inhomogeneous surfaces, such as those found on piece goods, can be captured more accurately than with conventional
methods. In addition, sections of an image can
either be viewed more closely or ignored. This
allows interfering influences or objects in the sensor image to be masked out. For extremely small containers, such as KLT boxes or waste paper baskets, the image section can be reduced. In this way, the aperture angle can be reduced and the measuring window can be individually adapted to the respective container.
